What is your Purpose? Are you living your life with purpose? Are you willing to discover your purpose? No excuses: Age, abilities, resources, inadequacies, or fear God will empower you to accomplish His purpose If God gives you a specific task, accept it cheerfully and do it with excellence. If God has not given you a specific purpose or calling, then seek to fulfill the mission common to all believers to love, obey, and serve God – until your purpose becomes clear. Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God. Your life has a purpose, so live your life with purpose.

We live in the “already, but not yet Times”. The kingdom of God has come, but it’s not complete. It’s not complete until everyone has had a chance to call on Jesus, to repent, and bear fruit “in keeping with repentance. Carpe Diem (Seize the Day) = Carpe temporis (Seize the Season) The Season of Lent = Season of Reflection; Repentance, where we sacrifice some things to give us more time to bear fruit. Make the most of the season. This is the season to “turn, turn, turn”. This is the season to bear fruit. Repent now! Bear fruit now! Enjoy salvation forever.

Jesus’ Expectations for us is to have an intimate and personal relationship with Him and not to treat Him like a genie in a bottle; to pull Him down off the shelf and rub Him to make a wish when we are in need or distress. He wants us to have constant contact with Him every day, throughout the day about everything. He wants us to let Him be our hope, and to trust Him for our needs. Everyone will eventually, It's best to do so sooner than later. Life with Jesus exceeds our expectations. Eternal life with Jesus will exceed all expectations. Hail Him as your Savior, King and LORD. Let Him ride right into your heart, to conquer your life, and to bring you true freedom. Expect your own Resurrection when He returns.

Come to Jesus Christ and receive all the things He wants to bless you with in your “garden plot” and receive Resurrection, new life, and entrance into the Garden of Paradise in the life to come. Some of you need to enter the Garden now, so let’s do that. Let’s pray: Lord Jesus, I have tried things my way and I’ve made a mess. I have sinned and you seem very distant. I need You, Lord. I want that Garden Paradise. You have promised that if I seek and ask and knock, then You will enter and be with me. So come now, Lord Jesus. Come and save me. Come and have Your way with me. Give me new life and the Resurrection life that You promise to all who turn to You in faith. You are mine, and I am Yours. Thank you, Risen Lord Jesus!

The Resurrected Jesus reveals Himself to us as Alive Forevermore so we will get on with Eternal Living. This life is relatively short, and there are struggles and suffering along the way. But Eternity is a LONG time, and the struggles of this life will not compare to the joy of eternal life and life forevermore with Jesus. Our sins have convicted and sentenced us to death, but Jesus holds the keys to death and Hades. He alone can free us from eternal bondage and give us life evermore. Our eternity is secure through faith in Jesus Christ.
Stop worrying about death & get on with living:
Live this life in preparation for eternal life. Live with Jesus as the center of our lives. Share Jesus with others. Thank You Jesus for this revelation, for your Resurrection, our new life, and life forevermore.

Our entire Life can and should be an act of worship:
Work as worship? You and I would be the best employees, the best business owners in the world;
Thoughts as worship? Our minds would have peace (peace of mind). We wouldn’t think of lust or fear or evil because those thoughts don’t give value to God;
Words as worship? We would not say ugly, hurtful things to one another. Our words would build up and not tear down. We would not lie or gossip. “Did you pray about that before you said it to me?” That’s worship before speaking!;
Deeds as worship? There would be a lot more kindness and compassion. We would love our neighbors. We would provide for the needs of others. We would serve God and others.

Carolina Forest will be the largest community in Horry County and there are no Anglican Churches there. We have Jesus, we have the Holy Spirit, we have discipleship. Small step or giant leap? Whatever it is, all it takes is a group of people saved and sold out for Jesus and have a vision for ministry. Christians use Words AND Actions. We preach AND use words. We preach with our actions and words. We tell others that the way of salvation is through Jesus Christ. We live out our salvation in life through actions and when we do the Holy Spirit moves through us. When we offer others new & eternal life in Jesus Christ the kingdom of God multiplies. Preach the Gospel at all times with your actions, and proclaim salvation in Jesus Christ with your words. BOTH are Necessary.

Worship Jesus combats our inclination to idolatry. You have an opportunity to worship Jesus in Spirit and in Truth, gathered together with your church family. When you do on a regular and consistent basis, God is pleased and you are blessed. Commit to Give Up Your worship as a sacrifice of thanks and praise. Give up more in 2020. Giving up our resources is Biblical. It’s an act of worship that honors God. It’s an act of pastoral care for ourselves INSIDE the church. It helps us to love our neighbors OUTSIDE the church. Generosity demonstrates our faith. You can fake some aspects of the faith but you can’t fake generosity. God has given up so much for us (His One & Only Son). Let’s be generous and give up our resources for Him, for His people, and for the Church.
